05-13-21 Update to Families Regarding Court Decision and Order

May 13, 2021

Dear Williamsville Central School District Families,

Late today, we received the Decision and Order from Judge Emilio Colaiacovo regarding the lawsuit brought forth against the District.

Pursuant to his Order, the District will begin full-time, in-person learning on Monday, May 17, 2021. Students who selected fully remote instruction will receive five days of remote instruction. The hybrid model will no longer be an option.

Attached with this letter are two documents:

Please review these documents over the next few days as the District brings students back to school. If you have any questions, please contact your building principal.

As we implement the Judge’s order, we thank our families and students for your patience, understanding, and flexibility.  Our faculty and staff have been working tirelessly since February and have been essential in ensuring our buildings are ready and prepared to welcome back our students.  Thank you again for all your efforts and support to make this transition possible.

Sincerely,

Dr. John E. McKenna
Acting Superintendent of Schools
