2021-2022 Return to School Information
June 22, 2021
Dear Families/Faculty/Staff:
On May 24, 2021, the Governor announced that, based on current COVID-19 trajectory, all New York State schools will reopen for full in-person learning for the 2021-2022 school year beginning in September.
Our District is planning for a full return of students to a traditional in-person, 5-day instructional program in September. Unless we are required to offer a fully remote program by the Governor or the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), the District will discontinue the fully remote and/or hybrid/hyflex models at the conclusion of this school year.
We would like to thank our students and parents for your flexibility and efforts over the past school year.
We look forward to starting the 2021-2022 school year with 100% of our students learning in-person. We believe the greatest value for academics as well as social emotional wellness and growth is in-person learning.
Sincerely,
Dr. John E. McKenna Dr. Darren J. Brown-Hall
