7th graders at Transit Middle School competed in the Western New York Regional Future City Competition and took home the top honors to advance to the national competition.

The 7th grade team not only won 1st place for their future city "Marinus," but also took home the award for "Most Futuristic City" for their innovation.

Along with the 7th grade team, the 6th grade team won the award for "Best Bridge Design," while the 8th grade earned the "Spirit, "Most Unique Model," and "Pollution Prevention" awards.
