Dear Williamsville Central School District Families and Staff,

At the Board of Education organizational meeting on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, the District presented its Safety Plan and held its annual District Safety Plan Forum.  In accordance with New York State Education Department rules and regulations, there is a 30-day comment period now open for stakeholders.  This comment period is open until Friday, August 5, 2022.

While linked to the District-wide School Safety Plan, Building-Level Emergency Response Plans are confidential and will not be subject to disclosure under Article 6 of the Public Officers Law or any other provision of law, in accordance with Education Law Section 2801-a.

Full copies of the District-Wide School Safety Plan and any amendments will be posted on the District’s website within 30 days of adoption but no later than October 15 of each year. Building-Level Emergency Response Plans will be provided to local police, State Police and local Fire Service within 30 days of adoption but no later than October 15 of each year.
