11 Williamsville students were named as semifinalists for the 2023 National Merit Scholarship and will continue to compete for more than 7,200 National Merit Scholarships worth $28 million.

Started in 1955, more than 1.5 million high school students enter and compete in the program each year.  Semifinalists will be notified in February if they are a finalist in the program.  Finalists will learn if they’ve received a National Merit Scholarship between April and July.
