10-26-22 NYSED Digital Resource Survey
October 26, 2022
Dear Williamsville Central School District Families,
Similar to last year, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) is collecting information regarding internet access and digital devices used in the home for education. The goal is to gain a better understanding of digital equity across the state and better serve students and families.
In order to accomplish this, NYSED is asking parents/guardians to complete a Digital Resource Survey, formerly known as the Digital Equity Survey. This survey features nine questions and needs to be completed for each student in grades K-12 to help provide accurate information.
Starting Tuesday, November 1st, the Digital Equity Survey will be available on WITS. Once completed, the District will then provide those survey results to NYSED. If you filled out this survey last year, when you access the survey on WITS, you will be able to see your previous responses.
Thank you for your help in completing this survey.
Sincerely,
Dr. Darren J. Brown-Hall
Superintendent of Schools
