10-22-20 COVID-19 Health Update from Dr. John McKenna

Dear Williamsville Central School District Families and Staff,
The Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) notified the District on October 22, 2020, of a positive case of COVID-19 at Country Parkway Elementary School. The individual was never on campus during the contagious period.
There is no impact to the school community.
We cannot release information regarding this individual due to Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA).
The District will continue to work with the ECDOH to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and school community.

The District has taken immediate action to ensure areas occupied by the COVID-19 positive individual have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with Department of Health and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.

New York State Department of Health has created a COVID-19 Daily Report Card that families and staff can access to obtain information regarding positive COVID-19 cases in each district’s school buildings.
