12-14-20 Update to Families from Dr. John McKenna
Dear Williamsville Central School District Families,
Thank you for your trust and patience as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 global health pandemic. Today, we welcomed back our hybrid/hyflex students in all of our schools. I had the opportunity to visit all 13 buildings and witness firsthand how excited students were to be back in school with their teachers and classmates again. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing students in-person and remote, and the incredible connections that continue to be made.
I can’t wait until this pandemic is over and we can see ALL our students and staff back together again. I am proud to work with such exceptional educators whose actions clearly demonstrate a high level of care for their students. Our staff has worked hard to ensure that all students, whether hybrid/hyflex or remote, receive a high-quality Williamsville education. It is also a privilege to work with our families and community. Our home and school partnership has been essential to our success. Thank you for your continued support.
If you have a few minutes, please take a look at this short video which highlights some of the energy and excitement we saw in our schools today with our in-person and remote students.
Sincerely,
Dr. John E. McKenna
Acting Superintendent of Schools
