A Letter to the Community Regarding the Superintendent Search Advisory Committee
February 10, 2021
Dear Williamsville Community,
As we continue with the search for the next superintendent of the Williamsville Central School District, we would like to invite you to be involved in the interview process. Available now on the District’s website is a self-nomination form to be part of the Community At-Large Search Advisory Committee. Community members who would like to participate in this committee must complete the self-nomination form before Sunday, February 28, 2021.
In addition to submitting this form, all self-nominees must commit to participating in a search advisory committee workshop, which is currently scheduled to be held on March 30, 2021. All committee members must also be available April 12-15, 5 p.m. or later, to conduct superintendent interviews. Committee members will be randomly selected and notified by Dr. Lynn Fusco, District Superintendent Erie 1 BOCES.
Lastly, there is still time to complete the superintendent survey on our District website. Your input is desired and will help us consider the type of leader that will best serve our school community. If you have not responded to the survey, it is available until February 19, 2021. The results of this survey will be made public at the March 9th Board of Education meeting. Updates regarding the superintendent search can be found here.
We look forward to continuing this process with you.
