02-25-21 Letter to Families Regarding Important Planning Survey

February 25, 2021

Dear Williamsville Central School District Families,

The Williamsville Central School District is proactively preparing for any changes in school guidance.  At this time, there has been no change to school guidance from the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), New York State Education Department (NYSED), or Governor Cuomo.  Any changes regarding school guidance come directly from NYSDOH, NYSED, or the Governor.

Information provided by families will help the District make important planning decisions in preparation for any changes in school guidance that allows for increased capacity.  We are asking families to complete a survey on WITS for planning purposes.

If a change to school guidance is made by NYSDOH, NYSED or Governor Cuomo, there will be a formal commitment process at a later date requiring input regarding the instructional model you will choose.

Please fill out the survey for each one of your children on WITS by Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Dr. John E. McKenna
Acting Superintendent of Schools
